Big Task Foundation - Program Director (LA)

Description

Perform as the Program Director of the Big Task Foundation 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, focused on creating a Collaborative Action Community (CAC) of Thought Leaders and Executives. The mission of the CAC is to “Define, Develop, and Teach the new way of collaborative action for solving the world’s biggest problems together."

Oversee and execute the initial strategic positioning of the CA Community. Specific Deliverables include: management of CA Community content, research agendas, relationship development with academics and c-suite executives. Ability to manage and develop new relationships with the professional and academic communities is key. Candidates must be driven, self-motivated, and flexible. Developing and executing in a constantly evolving, entrepreneurial culture is essential to success.

Candidates MUST BE interested in applied research in the spaces of relational capital, social capital, social sciences, psychology, sociology, social networking, team dynamics, leadership development, and influence. An understanding in the areas of collaboration and intellectual property are KEY. MUST be well versed in communicating with experienced senior level icons and premiere academics. 4-5 years work experience required (program management or project planning space preferred). MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and successfully deliver projects
  • >Layout initial direction and business plan of the non-profit foundation
  • >Manage and forge new relationships with C-Suite executives and Thought Leading academics
  • >Develop project plans, resource plans and project estimates in collaboration with multiple functions and teams
  • >Ensure that milestones are achieved on-time and on-budget and in scope by dealing with or escalating issues with sufficient time for course correction
  • >Proactively communicates with stakeholders of the foundation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
  • 4-5 years experience in a progressive career path as a Project Manager, Program Manager, or Product Manager in non-profit or similar field
  • Proven experience in working in managing multiple projects
  • Experience in: program management, issue reporting and resolution, executive status reporting, project management tools, and cross-functional team leadership
  • Possess process and strategic thinking skills
  • Self-starter that can drive complex projects with minimal direction and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong communication, decision making and relationship-building skills are required
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organization skills
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical reasoning skills
  • Must be flexible and self motivated
  • Interest in Research and Thought Leadership
  • Experience building/creating processes and methodology a plus

Business Development and Practice Associate/Manager - High Impact Teams (NYC or LA)

Description

  • Small, fast-paced training and consulting company seeks a business and IP development associate/ manager for its High Impact Teams Practice.
  • This individual will work closely with the company CEO and best-selling author, Keith Ferrazzi, to deliver workshops, document intellectual property (IP), and help develop/ close new business.
  • Key duties and responsibilities include:
    • Leverage Ferrazzi Greenlight frameworks to develop and execute programs to meet clients needs and goals
    • Drive follow-through on business development conversations to conclusion (including writing/project managing contract execution)
    • Perform market research and strategic analysis on team performance/ effectiveness issues – and share insights with Keith to further develop FG approach
    • Translate research, analysis, and client solutions into highly effective sales materials, presentations, and documentation
    • Develop and present client deliverables and Ferrazzi Greenlight IP
    • Help identify and create client up-sell and business development opportunities
    • Assist in the creation of thought leadership and new consulting product offerings
  • Based on prior work experience, this individual also will manage day-to-day and senior client relationships to support the growth of the business and Ferrazzi Greenlight overall.
  • Location: Los Angeles, CA (or New York City, NY for a self-starting individual who is comfortable working virtually)

Consulting Manager (Los Angeles, CA)

As a Consulting Manager, you will play an integral role on Ferrazzi Greenlight project teams helping to develop innovative marketing and strategic solutions for Fortune 500 clients. You will lead engagements with senior client marketing and sales executives.   The bulk of the work will consist of leveraging existing Ferrazzi Greenlight marketing frameworks such as high touch marketing to drive positive business results for clients. By continuously striving for better and more innovative client solutions, consultants may also participate in the development of intellectual property which helps drive both revenue and additional service offerings for the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
